Removals Van London

Part-loads · London to Europe

Small loads to Europe, from London

Moving a few rooms rather than a whole house? A part-load lets you send just what you’re taking from London to France, Italy, Spain or Portugal — without paying for a whole van.

A part-load is the man-and-van idea, stretched across the Channel. Instead of hiring a whole lorry for a few rooms, your things share the van with other moves heading the same way — so you only pay for the space you actually use. It’s ideal for a flat’s worth of furniture, a downsize, or a partial move to a second home abroad.

The route runs out of London on the M20 or M2 to Dover or the Eurotunnel at Folkestone, across the Channel, and onto the Continental motorways to your destination. We pick up from anywhere in London, and the same corridor can collect near Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds or Brighton on the way if that’s where your things are. One team stays with the load from your London door to the far end.

Customs, paperwork and the small print

Since Brexit, moving belongings from London into the EU means customs — and that’s the part we handle for you. For personal belongings going to a new home there’s a recognised process, and the move runs on an itemised inventory plus the transit and customs documents that carry your goods across the border. We prepare that paperwork with you and route the load through the crossing properly, so a part-load abroad is as straightforward as a job across town.

Timing depends on the route and how the load is consolidated with others heading the same way — your written quote sets out an estimated window rather than a promise we can’t keep. Read the routes for France, Italy, Spain and Portugal.
