The route
Out of London it’s the M20 or M2 to Dover or the Eurotunnel at Folkestone, across the Channel, then down through France — the A10 past Bordeaux, or the A75 over the Massif Central — to the Pyrenees. We cross at La Jonquera onto the AP-7 and A-7 along the Mediterranean for the Costas and Barcelona, or take the western pass near Irún for Madrid and the interior. Where it saves a long haul, we put the van on the Brittany Ferries sailing from Portsmouth or Plymouth to Santander or Bilbao and drop down through Spain on the A-1, A-3 or A-7. We plan whichever suits your load, and sort the last stretch — including gated urbanización access — before we set off.
Customs and paperwork
Taking belongings from London into Spain means clearing customs, and that’s the part we handle for you. Goods going to your home in Spain run on a detailed inventory alongside the transit and customs documents that carry them across the border. We prepare all of it with you, explain what each piece is for, and take the load through the crossing correctly — whether we’ve driven the whole way or come in by ferry.

Do you cover the whole of Spain?
Yes. We run to the Costa Blanca — Alicante, Jávea, Dénia, Torrevieja — the Costa del Sol around Málaga and Marbella, up to Valencia and Barcelona, inland to Madrid, and across to Murcia and Costa Almería. A part-load is a good fit for the coastal spots where you’re furnishing an apartment rather than shifting a whole household.
What about customs and paperwork?
