The route
Out of London it’s the M20 or M2 down to Dover or the Eurotunnel at Folkestone, across the Channel to Calais, and then the French autoroute network: the A26 and A1 towards Paris, the A10 for the Loire and the south-west, or the A6 and A7 down the Rhône to Provence and the Mediterranean. We plan the crossing and the drive around the realities of the road, and work out any tricky final lanes in the French countryside before we set off.
Customs and paperwork

Is a part-load cheaper than a full van?
Because you only pay for the space your things take up rather than the whole vehicle, a part-load usually works out more sensible for a few rooms. We won’t quote numbers on the site, but we’ll give you a clear, written price for your actual load.

Anywhere in Greater London — north, east, south, west and central. If your things are near Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol or Brighton instead, the same corridor can often pick up on the way to the Channel.
How long does a part-load to France take?
It depends on where in France you’re going and how the load is consolidated with others heading the same way. Rather than promise a figure we can’t hold, your written quote sets out an estimated window once we know the detail of your move.
